Honestly I haven't used it with this recipe, but I like to throw in an envelope of instant oatmeal.
A good quality (low sugar, high fiber).and the liquid might be the same.
I use it in a home made pancake recipe as a substitute for 1/2 c flour and no change in
liquid. Turns out good. I have used it in other baking e.g. sweet breads, muffins.
