I'm with Leslie Ann, this is way to much fuss. I use 1 1\3 cup flour, 1/2 cup Cisco shorting, 1/2 tea salt, 3-4 table water. I have NEVER had a baked pie shell look like these pictures. I put everything but the water in food processor, turn it on add water. It will ball up perfect. ( 5# bag flour will make 16 pie crust ). Roll out, put in pie pan, prick bottom and sides with fork, bake 20 min. 400°. Crust can be baked days before you need them, wrap in plastic wrap, they're ready when you are.
