2 questions.. Eunice, How did the Buttermilk pecan pie turn out? Sounds delicious.. And to the baker's hotline, When blind baking a crust for a pecan pie, is it safe to assume that you do not prick/dock the shell in the final stage of blind baking? I would think doing so would cause the liquid to run through and make the crust stick to the bottom of the pan. However if you don't, you risk getting large air pockets.
