We do this. I've been doing a variation on this for different large dinners I have to do. Though with Thanksgiving it's always fun and interesting as we may have 1 dinner or 3 to go to and the weekend before I go camping with my Girl Scout Troop. This year it's only one dinner and we are at my MIL's. We are providing the Turkey and mashed potatoes, and probably rolls, so I'm getting off light this year. Turkey will be started brining on Weds evening and if DS#1 is off school Weds during the day he can start the sourdough. Last year I had a nice spreadsheet as we were home and I was doing everything. I had a column for each burner, appliance, oven, & grill. and listed cook times and prep times for everything.
