We're sorry to hear that, Helen! It sounds like the batter may have been a little bit more liquid-y than ours was which could possibly happen if you were using a flour with a lower protein content than our all-purpose flour. Or, it could happen if the fruit were heavier or in larger pieces. We'd love to help troubleshoot further at 855-371-BAKE (2253).
