I have made the starter and made pancakes with the discard part but I noticed when I left it out after feeding it that a leathery top formed on the top of it. It had risen and had bubbles but the leathery or whatever you would call it on the top bothered me. Is this normal and if so should I throw it away or stir it in? Not sure what is causing this and thought I would ask someone for help. Help!!!! Thank you
