With the exception of bagels, which I've never had any luck making, my 4-year-old has had almost no store-bought bread (none from my hands). He loves my home made whole wheat breads. My standard is the whole wheat sandwich bread from the whole wheat baking book, but lately I've been making the whole grain English muffins with malted wheat flakes. Yum. Once you're used to home made bread, store-bought tastes like cardboard in my book.
