Barb - as the 60-yr. old son of a hippie, I loved the artwork you created 'back in the day'... I grew up with co-ops, hootenannies, folk festivals, Moosewood cookbook, Diet for a Small Planet, and dinners filled with all sorts of scruffy characters. My mom baked all our bread, I never remember her buying bread ever. I'm glad to be carrying on that tradition, in fact all three of us kids bake. Thanks for the great info. I'm coming up on 50 loaves of sourdough, and there was some new information here for me that I look forward to trying.
