Hey Kathleen! I know this is almost a year old at this point but I was reading through comments this year before Thanksgiving. It sounds like your yeast is the issue. This sounds basic, but I always like to ask questions from the beginning. Is your yeast fresh? If it's a jar of yeast are you storing it in the refrigerator after opening? Is it more than 6 months old? I'd by fresh yeast and try again.
