I use an heirloom recipe for crescents. My Mom got the recipe from my aunt before I was born (so over 75 years). I mix, let rise, pat down, form, let rise and bake. So would you suggest that I just mix, form and freeze? The recipe makes 64 rolls and has milk, eggs, a bit of sugar and either oil or melted shortening. (I usually make the full batch because the teenagers sometimes eat 4 or 5 each.) Now my other question is who has a freezer that is not self defrosting? I haven't had one for around 20 years. If you try to get as much air out as possible, shouldn't that help. As put the frozen formed rolls in a FoodSaver bag? Thank you so much. This would really help my crazy holiday mornings.
