Oh, it made me so happy to see this post! I inherited my grandmother's recipe for this chocolate cake - in our family it was called Wacky Cake. I also have her 8x8 metal pan, the interior of which is rugged with dings, gouges and grooves from decades of cake slicing. I shared this recipe on my blog a couple of years ago, and it is an amazingly moist, rich cake. No butter, no eggs!
