Hi Millet, if your recipe calls for baking soda, then it's not a great opportunity to use Self-Rising Flour since there's baking powder already added to this flour (not baking soda). We don't currently have a recipe for banana bread using Self-Rising Flour developed, but you could take a look at this selection of recipes that are designed to work with it to see if anything catches your eye.
