My husband and I have been making waffles together for 46 years now (hard to believe!) and, by far, the best ever are Yeast Waffles made in a waffle iron that flips over. The recipe is on-line from various sources, ours came with our first flip over waffle maker and is called GoodNight Waffles. The basic batter is made the night before and sits on the counter overnight. The next morning the egg and a few other ingredients are added before cooking. They are simply amazing, sort of like the perfect popover, crispy light with a moist inside. We have become famous for our waffle breakfast!
