Dear PJ, Thank you for all the wonderful waffle tips. The last time I made bacon waffles using a recipe for "light and airy" waffles they were okay but still could use some improvements. I will try your idea of separating the eggs, painting on the butter since the older machines do tend to stick even with care taken to apply oil to each side and of course all the flavor choices for personalizing the waffle to ones taste almost like pancakes is really nice. I will have to remember not to peak at the waffle till the waffle maker Stops steaming.
