Wonderful tips on making waffles. I love waffles and make them often. Next time, I will whip the whites separately! The only thing I would add is a tip on keeping your extra waffles. As you said, no one makes only one waffle. I have learned, from experience, that refrigeration will ruin your waffles, however, once cool, waffles can be wrapped tightly and be placed in a freezer bag and be frozen until the next time. I usually leave them out for a half hour or so, in the bag, so the moisture is absorbed back into the waffle, and then heat them for five minutes in preheated oven. It will be like having freshly baked waffles.
