Thank you for the tips! I love Belgian waffles! I finally caved in a couple years ago and bought one. Now a couple times a month, I dig mine out and make a big batch of waffles. Let cool, store in frig and pop them in the toaster in the mornings for a quick breakfast. I've even modified my recipe to use up my unfed sourdough starter when that gets to be huge from multiple feedings. And now off to try a batch of cinnamon waffles or maybe even gingerbread waffles!
