Hi, Patricia. As part of the milling process, the rye is stored in silos and tempering bins that are also used to store wheat. Wheat isn't intentionally added to all of our rye flours but because of the storage process, there could be some commingling during this time which is why we've labeled the flours with the containing wheat statement.
