I would like to make rye bread using my bread machine but I wanted the harder crust on the outside like the breads I used to have from kosher bakeries. Most rye breads have soft crusts. The best I’ve come to it was from Panera Bakeries but they stopped making it. My machine makes up to 2 pound loaves.
