On your sourdough bread recipe, you tell us to preheat the oven to 500 degrees but not the pot. The pot has the dough inside and when you put it in the oven you're supposed to lower the temperature to 450 degrees, is that correct?? Most recipes require you preheat the pot before putting the dough in it, that's why I'm confused. Thanks for your reply!
