Currently the xanthan gum that we sell individually is fermented from glucose syrup which could be derived from corn, sugar beet or sugar cane. However, due to the process of refining the gum there are no corn, sugar beet, or sugar cane proteins left in the final product. We understand that baking for folks with allergies can be tricky and the safety of our customers is a top priority for our team, so we always recommend speaking to a doctor or dietitian whenever a customer has concerns about a product being right for them.
