I make stabilized whipped cream by adding 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon dry non-fat milk, and 1 teaspoon vanilla after the cream just begins to thicken. Then beat until stiff peaks form, and you can top a pie the night before you plan to serve it, and the cream stays firm. Happy Thanksgiving!
