I live at almost 8000 ft and tried to make sugar cookies for Easter to decorate. I also use only butter in cookies. My cookie dough was very dry and wouldn't stick together. Needless to say, the cookies weren't much better. Any advice on how to adjust for altitude? I keep your guide for adjusting for altitude prominently in my kitchen and have successfully used it. But sugar cookies? The taste is so delicate and just right, I'm afraid to experiment. Help, please and thank you.
