Do King Arthur's contracted non-organic wheat farmers test for pesticide residues in their soil? What are the tests, and where can we see the results? Are you basically giving us a choice between either having to pay a huge premium for organic flour...or eating poison? Finally, what is King Arthur's company doing to move non-organic growers out of exposing themselves, their families, and their communities/groundwater/wildlife to these absurd and money-grubbing toxins? I stopped buying Bob's Red Mill because it amounts to a price multiplier for nothing other than a brand stamp, then the offer of products with a vast premium...for not buying and applying expensive (but lucrative for Pharma's big ag subsidiaries, like Monsanto) chemicals! Feels a bit like a protection racket.
