Good day, Ellen! We haven’t heard this ourselves but do know that for non-organic wheat, glyphosate is federally approved for use by farmers with the requirement that any application must comply with its regulatory approval. If used, residual glyphosate levels in wheat should remain below the federally mandated level for wheat of 30 parts per million.
While Bob’s is a competitor, it’s only right to point out that they also offer a certified organic line of products, where the use of glyphosate would be prohibited. That goes for our line of certified 100% organic flours as well. We have to believe that the hard-working people over at Bob’s share our goal of producing the very best products they can while navigating the complexities of modern food production. It’s no simple thing and we genuinely appreciate any business that pursues high standards on behalf of their customers.
