Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Gaius. You're right that our team is committed to quality products and has been since our founding in 1790. We appreciate knowing how important this is to you and I'm happy to speak to other actions we've been taking in recognition that some have expressed uncertainty and discomfort with glyphosate, even when growers use it as directed and in accordance with its federal approval.

We’re particularly proud of innovations we’ve brought to our non-organic White Whole Wheat Flour, which is the first product in our Field-to-Flour program. As part of this program, we’ve been able to introduce steps which allow traceability of the wheat back to the farm it’s sourced from and set specific guidelines around crop management. This includes not permitting the use of glyphosate as a pre-harvest application on the white spring wheat it’s milled from.

We also continue to offer and support our full line of certified 100% organic flours, where the use of glyphosate is prohibited. We work with third-party certification to enforce strict guidelines set by USDA organic certification. In addition to this, we’ve recently partnered with Clif Bar to fund organic grain research at Washington State University’s Bread Lab in order to further the development of organic agriculture. We’re not stopping there, though, and you can be sure that we’ll continue to work with our supply chain, from farmer to mill to bag, to ensure we’re offering the best products we can to our customers.
