Thanks for sharing your request and concerns with us. When it comes to organic, a residue limit of 1.5 parts per million of glyphosate is set by the USDA (just 5% of the EPA’s limit for tolerance in cases where glyphosate would be directly applied to a crop). This is to account for the possibility of unintended, trace contact despite all standards and procedures being strictly upheld. King Arthur Flour utilizes Quality Assurance International (QAI) to independently verify that the organic wheat grown and milled into our flour passes the rigorous standards required to be recognized as certified organic. While QAI’s results aren’t currently made public, our team is entirely confident in the work that they do to ensure all of our organic farmers fully adhere to organic certification requirements.
