Followed this advice tonight with surprising success! I confess I was skeptics, but everything worked out amazing and our pizza was delicious! Pro tip to share, if you like your pizza à la française like we do - I.e. with an egg in the middle - I would recommend cooking it separately and the popping it on top. Our eggs did not cook in the time it took the cheese to melt/bottom to cook. However, 90 seconds under the broiler took care of that and I have to say I’m feeling pretty smug about the results!
