How crucial to the recipe is the espresso powder? I would be inclined to purchase it, however my best friend, who frequently makes brownies a lot for her husband and youngest son would not. I've been wanting to share the KAF recipe with her but figured she wouldn't try it for lack of that ingredient. Thanks for all your posts. I really enjoy the blog.
