Great recipe, except for the part where it says to use butter and sugar to coat the pan. I couldn’t get the cake to come out of the pan. Parchment paper is the way to go if you want to make sure your cake releases from the pan. Next time I will follow my instincts, instead of the recipe, in cases like this.
