Linnea, we've had a lot of success using the basic Cuisinart 1.5-Quart Ice Cream Maker linked in this post and sold on our site. We've also recently discovered a love for the Cuisinart Ice Cream & Gelato Maker. It has a built in compressor, which allows you to skip the step of pre-freezing your bowl and also results in a steeper price tag. We highly recommend both models! Mollie@KAF
