We know that sinking feeling, Jean - it can be so disappointing! A common mistake is to skip the crucial step of chilling the mixed ingredients before adding them to your ice cream machine. This recipe recommends chilling for at 2-4 hours before adding to the ice cream machine, but you can chill for even longer if needed - you want the mixture nice and COLD by the time it goes into your machine. You'll also want to make sure the bowl of your ice cream maker is cold enough. Your machine should indicate how long it needs in the freezer, but upwards of 12-24 hours is typical. If you're still having trouble, feel free to call our Baker's Hotline at 855-371-BAKE, and we'd be happy to troubleshoot more with you. Mollie@KAF
