Once the mixture is chilled per the recipe, place in a shallow cold pan and place it in the freezer. Stir it every 30 minutes until it's frozen enough to enjoy. While we haven't tested this method, it might result in a less creamy texture than the constant churning or stirring that happens with some type of ice cream maker. Irene@KAF
