When I was a very young girl, we would have Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners at the home of one of my dad's 3 sisters and she made a homemade banana cream pie that I absolutely loved. Unfortunately her recipe was never passed down to my mom...I see a banana purchase in the very near future. I will be giving this version a try and hope it's taste brings back some very fond memories.
