Who says you can't teach old dogs new tricks? Been making pies for 60+ years and had never heard about putting crust in frig but will try it with my next one. We like single crust pies but mine are never pretty because they "slide" every which way. Your banana cream recipe is like the one I learned to make from my mother except we used all cornstarch and no flour. Very good.
