Hi Ron! If you forgot to discard, no problem! Just discard back down to the 113g the next time. Not discarding is what you'll end up doing if you need to bulk up your starter. You'll find that your starter may have ripened faster if you didn't discard. We generally like to discard every time because it keeps the starter more stable and doesn't require a huge amount of flour to upkeep each time. I hope you find this helpful. Happy baking!
