Hi Madison. it's fine to store your dried starter in the freezer in an airtight container or freezer bag if you don't have a cooler spot in your home. I always recommend storing a little starter (not dried) in the back of your fridge as well, since a mature starter can last in the refrigerator for several months, and may be a bit easier to activate.
