My dried starter (using the KAF method) sat in the cabinet for 3+ years and came to life wonderfully. It wasn't particularly strong when I dried it but the reviving method and patience worked great. I recommend a bit of KAF White Rye flour for the reviving. About to dry out some really active starter to be sure I have some for the next time I need a sourdough break.

Thanks for the guidance in my sourdough journey!
