Wow, that's an interesting thought! We haven't tried it ourselves and it seems like it wouldn't work the same way, as it usually takes some time to reactivate starter after it's been dried. That being said, you should feel free to experiment! It wouldn't be the first time we were surprised by a baker's ingenuity! Kat@KAF
