This is wonderful information. I think I'll try doing this the next time I feed my starter so I gain experience in how it works. I had once been told to freeze my starter for long-term storage, and it was never the same, so I tossed it and started over. Ever since then, I've known what NOT to do, but not what TO do. Thanks!
