To piggyback on Rusty's comment above, the Ingredient Weight Chart lists 1/3 cup of water = 74 g, 2/3 cup of water = 149 g. Adding the two together I get 1 cup of water = 223 g. The USDA on their website says that 1 cup = 237 g. In a Google search on the question, I find that there are sources that support both of these numbers (approximately). The answer is not changing water density due to temperature (240 g at 4 deg C to 239 g at 29.4 deg C (85 deg F)). Why do you use 223 g? Thanks for your help!!
