I stupidly put all my coconut chocolate chip cookies' dry ingredients in a bowl, including the sugar, then realized I should have creamed the sugar with butter first. There is a lot of sugar in the recipe already but I wonder if I add a bit extra sugar in with the butter and cream it then add it to the rest of the ingredients would it save the mixture? Is there any point in my continuing with this recipe?
