Judy, I'm so sorry you had a bad reaction to this recipe! Rest assured, most of our bread recipes don't contain pineapple juice, although a few of our whole wheat recipes do contain orange juice. I think you could add a similar citrus-type juice to this recipe and get very similar results. Barb@KAF
