Made these yesterday for the first time and followed the recipe exactly except used red SAF yeast. They turned out perfectly. Used my Bosch mixer which doesn't have a med. speed - all 3 speeds are much faster than the Kitchenaid - and had no problem whatsoever. Thanks for the tip oiling the counter - worked really well.
