Hawaiian buns are supposed to be pretty tender, and bread flour would make them more chewy. If you're planning to use them for something really juicy and wet, like a pulled pork sandwich, bread flour might make sense, but it wouldn't be our first choice. If you do use bread flour, you'll probably need to add another tablespoon or two of liquid to the dough. Susan
