Hi Madelyn, we've got a few pieces of advice that might help you out. First--wet hands don't stick to wet dough. You can try spraying your work surface with some non-sticky spray or olive oil and coating your hands in it as well. It should be easier to handle in this case. Second--this dough shouldn't be quite that much of a sticky mess. When baking bread in the summertime, you might need to add additional flour to get the dough to the right consistency. Follow your baking instincts and add a bit more flour until the dough is more manageable--slightly tacky, but not a daughter-come-help-me mess. I hope that helps! Kye@KAF
