So happy to see this recipe! I absolutely LOVE King's Hawaiian Bread, but am deathly allergic to potato. Consequently I haven't been able to enjoy those sweet little bites of heaven for several years now. I've looked at adapting some other bread recipes but had only gotten as far as buying pineapple juice and coconut milk, which I then put away in my cupboard because I was feeling too insecure to experiment on my own. Thanks to your doing the experimenting for me, now I can just follow your recipe (minus the potato flour, of course) and enjoy!
