A trick I've just discovered with this recipe: Scooping the batter onto the cookie sheets is pretty messy, so I use a large ziploc-type bag with the corner snipped off and pipe little piles onto the cookie sheet. As they sit, they settle into nice rounds. It's a little harder to keep the cookies the same size, but they don't have to be exact. I've also found that the baked cookies freeze well.
