I tried this one both ways, Marianne, and it does work in your left hand because the mechanism relies on squeezing rather than thumb action, but it does fit better in the right hand and the dough falls out "backwards" if you use it in your left hand. I will pass on your desire for a left handed version. Barb@KAF
