Hi Rosa, I had a hard time when I first started using a scoop, but now it's second nature to me. When I scoop up the dough, I run the scoop against the side of the bowl to slightly firm the dough into the scoop. Then, when I'm ready to drop it, I give the scoop two or three quick squeezes over the cookie sheet. It seems like one squeeze isn't quite enough. Hope this helps!
