When I was a young girl I went to Hawaii with my Aunt and Uncle and we stayed at the Kona Inn on the Big Island. At every dinner they served a bread that was absolutely heavenly. I would have only eaten bread for dinner every night if I could have it was so good. I have since tried to find a recipe for this bread but I have not been able to. I don't know what it was called but it looked like a Braided Challah Bread on the outside with seeds. But when sliced the inside was very yellow and shinny with huge air holes in it. It was very moist. I have tried the Hawaiian Bread and the Portuguese Bread but they are not the same. I think it would have to have a lot of eggs in it to get the shiny texture. I am 75 now an this bread made such an impression I still yearn for it. Can you tell me what it is? And where I could find a recipe for it? Thanks, Rebecca
